Astana. July 15th. For celebratory week - from June 30th to July 7th Astana inhabitants and visitors of capital have eaten 60 thousand portions of ice-cream and drunk 75 thousand liters of fresheners. According to management of business and industry of Astana city, juices were especially demanded among buyers well cooled half-liter small bottles with mineral water, production of companies Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola.
Besides 100 000 packing the pop-corn and 22 000 balls of sweet cotton wool have been realized. Basically people got these goods in specially organized points of exit trade the quantity has exceeded 700 units, and in 100 from them there was realization of exclusively frozen and drinks.
Besides it 247 000 kg of sweets, 20 000 pies are sold in capital shops, in flower boutiques 58 000 pieces of various flowers - exotic and local are sold.
On specially organized the Day of city fairs inhabitants of capital and their visitors have bought 7 800 kg of apples, 12 000 kg of water-melons, 9 000 kg of melons.
These days the company “Meloman” sold over 3000 pieces of disks and 1500 books on the Kazakhstan subjects. Participants of celebrations have bought up 10 000 balloons. Dispatch among celebrating anniversary of Astana and 12 000 badges specially made to this date with a corresponding trade mark.
The hotel complex of capital these days also worked in an unusual mode. So, in involved 4 200 numbers for the period of holiday more than 20 000 visitors of Astana stopped there.
It is necessary to note that discounts have been declared on June 25th from 5 up to 50 on the occasion of the first anniversary of capital. In this action more than 100 enterprises have taken part, declared a reduced price of 1000 names of articles of food and about 20000 names of the consumer goods. By the way, the event has got support in the republic and it is decided to prolong till August, 25th.
