The modern world is very different and many-sided. Such it has been made with the globalization, new information technologies, promoting growth of transparency and expanding geographical borders. And even states very much “Closed” or civilizations being detached today test influence on the ways, culture, a policy from outside to some extent. In Kazakhstan, made in one and one in a half centuries jerk from feudal-patrimonial time with a nomadic way of life in a society with market relations and a high degree of urbanization, this influence is especially visible. And though for history 100 years is not a term, but in Kazakhstan have already grown some generations of people hardly representing a way of life of the great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers. From the point of view of economic parameters, quality of life and population and many other parameters, the given transformation is unqualified success and welfare. But whether is it possible, whether is it necessary refuse in these conditions a heritage of our ancestors-nomads? It is obvious, that at a household level its necessity has been actually disappeared. But as it is paradoxical, not looking at all these aspects of a modern life, interest to culture of nomads in the world only increases. Even more often questions of nomadic civilizations become an occasion for carrying out of scientific researches, the international forums, cinema histories and other creative projects. Therefore it is absolutely natural, that the phenomenon of nomadic civilizations has been allocated in special section of celebrating of the 10 anniversary of Astana which has thematically united some versatile actions. It is the exhibition “Scythian gold”, opened on July, 1st, beginning the work of scientifically-practical conference “The Role of steppe cities in a civilization of nomads” and six-day Festival of nomadic civilizations under the name “Millenia around of Astana” on July, 2nd. The given events looked forward to both journalists, and the townspeople. But the occurrence in modern quarters from glass and concrete along Saryarka avenue, numerous horsemen and a caravan of camels from various regions of Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia has been apprehended, as something surreal. At the same time horsemen as if imported any special power from the last century. It was felt by everyone who has come next day to Festival of “Millenia around of Astana” In city park. Making comments on a prologue of the theatrical composition which has opened the festival, the main director of action Galym Dosken has noted, that its organizers have made an attempt to inform up to each spectator a private world of nomads, which in a basis of vital philosophy is the aspiration to light, true values, search of the ground which will become the promised for them (zheryiyk). “Zheruiyk for the nomad is a place selected by soul”, - has explained G.Dosken, and has still noted: “To understand a basis of philosophy of nomadic people, it is necessary to remember always, that the nomad did not reserve neither palaces, nor temples. The main thing, what he hasleft on the ground, finishing a way, was its Name”. Probably by this, each Kazakh remembers and honours, anyway tries, names of all ancestors up to the seventh knee. This memory is his spiritual support. There is such a support at Astana city too, in fact it has arisen on a place sacred for Kazakhs. In borders of modern Astana more than one thousand year ago has been constructed a military camp of Kipshak sultan – Bozok. It is very symbolical too. Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov has told about it in the short report at the opening ceremony of Festival. “Today is a significant day - we open Festival of many century old treasury of national culture of the Kazakh people. In this treasury is a great tradition of a nomadic civilization in which we scoop a spiritual support till today”, - I.Tasmagambetov has noted. Akim of Astana has informed, that the given Festival will enable everyone to join culture of an ancient civilization of nomads. It is known, that the material heritage of nomads in a greater degree is shown in subjects of life, an applied art, crafts. Spiritual is in oral national creativity, national music and dances. Everyone can look at the past in a new fashion in the festival, which program includes carrying out of fairs craft and jewels, aitys of poets, evening of kui, competitions by national kinds of sports, demonstration of skill of riding and elements of a falconry. And it is not important, that your ancestors, could live far from Great Silk Way, from boundless steppes, some time occupied by nomad tribes. In fact the sight at history always helps to rethink plans for the future. Driving off from the central entrance of city park along the bridge through Esil river in which waters outlines were reflected hi-tech many stored buildings, I have seen the foreigner with olive color of skin, widely swinging with white palms in a step to the fast step, a park going aside. I have thought, that globalization has very strongly changed the world, but it is not imperious above the soul looking for zheruiyk, its support.
