Iliya Averbukh, the champion of the Europe and the world on figure skating, the organizer of show of figure skaters and actors “Stars on ice” and “Ice age”, having learned about the anniversary of Astana, has sent congratulations with pleasure to Astana inhabitants.
-Iliya, have you ever been to Astana, and what impression do you have from this city?
-Indisputable, my feeling from Astana is connected with delight because, any way I did not expect to see there such modern beautiful buildings, to see so developed infrastructure. My representations about it were a little bit archaic. Recently, when I have appeared there for any moment it seemed to me, that I am not in Kazakhstan, and in any from the Japanese cities it is even more close to them on style. I have been pleasantly surprised. Our show has passed in Astana, we were accepted very well. In Kazakhstan many our figure skaters are well known, both are a fan of participants, look all our television projects. We lived in a very good hotel. So it has turned out, that during our stay there was broken the strong buran, we could not take off from Astana in any way. And I walked on city much on the car, and that I saw, very strongly impressed me.
These days in Astana will pass different actions, including round tables on a theme of carry of capitals. And what do you think of the carry of capital of Kazakhstan to Astana? Whether was it a correct decision?
-Unfortunately, I was only in Astana, but did not happen in Alma-Ata, and it is difficult to compare these two cities for me. I think, indoubtedly, president Nazarbayev know better, than me what to do. But, I think, that city which now is created and develops, - even in something way a revolutionary one as it is accepted to say now innovative. Moscow which I love very much, all time varies, appears a lot of new too. Therefore, I think, that Astana as the city of the new formation, the new buildings, new roads is also a symbol of new Kazakhstan.
What would you wish Astana in connection with celebrating of anniversary?
-I shall wish city the further intensive development. I would like to arrive once again to Astana, to act, communicate to public. I congratulate all inhabitants of republic with a solemn date, and I wish a bright holiday.
